Shahrzad quartet was founded by 4 graduated girls from music school based.

In the spring of 2012 , ” string quartet” and “Gorgani sextet” composed by Dr.Mohammad Saeed Sharifian were recorded and published in ” To the Earth and Sun ” CD.

In the summer of 2012 , maestro Shahrdad Rohani composed 12 pieces specifically for this quartet. After several practicing sessions with the presence of maestro Rohani , the pices were recorded and after mix and mastering in USA were published by Avaye Barbod company ( producer and sponsor ).

In the winter of 2013 and also in Fajr music festival , the quartet played ” Varan ” composed by Kiavash Saheb Nasagh in Roodaki Hall that was admired by critics .

In the spring of 2013 , the piece ” To her beautiful eyes ” was dedicated to the quartet and they played it in Contemporary music concert in Roodaki Hall .
